Check the ball valve is in the fully open position

After completing the grease injection operation, firstly, check whether the hole path of the valve ball is flush with the plane of the inner cavity of the valve seat. If there is any difference, the opening limit bolt on the actuator should be adjusted to ensure that the welded ball valve is fully opened. Otherwise, once the valve is installed, it is impossible to judge whether the valve is fully open.

The valve cannot be filled with grease

When the valve shaft (rod) is being filled with grease, the sealing pressure in the valve shaft (rod) must not exceed 20.68 MPa. Once it is exceeded, the grease gun should be checked for malfunctions and whether the outlet valve at the grease gun outlet is open.

If the valve grease gun has no-fault, check whether the grease nozzle is blocked, that is, slowly twist the grease nozzle and install it into the grease hole of the grease gun. Observe whether the grease nozzle can produce fat by injecting fat into the grease nozzle. If there is no grease be produced, it indicates that the one-way valve in the body of the grease injector is malfunctioned. If the grease can be produced by the grease injection nozzle, check the one-way valve located in the downstream of the grease injection nozzle, and use special tools to rotate it out for inspection. If there is any blockage to be removed, replace it if it is a serious fault.

If the grease cannot be injected yet, it should be reported to a professional engineer and on-site supervision, which shall be resolved on-site by the manufacturer.

Uneven grease in the grease injection hole

After the valve is filled with grease, a blockage of the seat sealing grease filling pipeline may sometimes occurs, resulting in uneven or non-fatting of grease in the valve seat grease filling hole.

The valve can be closed from 15 ° to 25 ° from the fully open state, observe the fat hole in the seat, and gently dredging with a soft tool, and then observe the fat injection.

Special attention should be paid to the fact that grease cannot be injected during the rotation of the valve ball, so as not to damage the valve seat seal.
